Announcing arrangements for the 2014 Energy Landscapes workshop, following previous meetings in Telluride and Obergurgl. The 2014 meeting will be hosted at Durham University, UK from 15 to 21 August. It will be launched with an afternoon symposium, hosted by the Durham Centre for Soft Matter (DCSM), and followed by weekend events and then a four-day workshop.

15th August: Afternoon symposium on Energy Landscapes. Talks in this session will be aimed at the broader soft matter and biophysics communities. Attendance is free of charge but registration is required. Please see the DCSM web site for more details.

16-17th August: A trip to the tidal island of Lindisfarne is planned for the weekend for all who wish to participate. Lindisfarne offers an Elizabethan castle, the ruins of a 7th century priory and plenty of opportunities for coastal walks.

18-21st August: Energy Landscapes Workshop, including biomolecules, colloids, glasses, clusters, self-assembly and new methodology. Talks will be held in the mornings with ample time for discussion and working groups combined with excursions in the afternoons.
