I am a PhD student at the University of Cambridge (the real one in England) working in the Department of Chemistry. My project is on the energy landscapes of biomolecules, particularly polypeptides. Current interests include global optimization algorithms, and methods for generating folding pathways and rates. For a more detailed look at what I do, click here.

My supervisor is Dr. David Wales, and I am therefore a member of the Wales group. We live in room 248, which sadly doesn't have a webcam in it, so you can't see us.

I also have a life away from academia, and if you wish to find out more about that then you can click here. The photo on the left shows me (third from the left) at Downing's Bicentenary Ball in June 2000.
